Residents of Primorye Will Choose Areas for Landscaping

Residents will be able to choose one or another area in 22 municipalities of the Primorsky Region that will be improved in 2024 under the national project “Housing and Urban Environment”. People will determine design projects of a park or a square in a number of territories that have been selected for renovation.

Citizens will be offered 64 parks, squares, recreation areas, embankments and viewing platforms. Voting will take place on a special platform from April 15 to May 31, 2023. Monotowns and municipalities with a population of at least 20,000 people will take part in the online selection.

The main objective of the project “Formation of a Comfortable Urban Environment” of the national project “Housing and Urban Environment” is to transform Russian cities and towns and make them more comfortable for people. One of the indicators of the project efficiency is the involvement of citizens in a decision-making process on issues of landscaping.
