Cities’ International Activities will be Known

The Secretariat of UCLG-Eurasia, led by Rasikh Sagitov, Secretary-General, held a session to discuss the Research and Rating of Cities’ International Activity. The meeting was attended by representatives of the Asia-Pacific, Middle Eastern and Latin American regional sections of UCLG. The discussion took place in the framework of the UCLG Retreat & Campus, an annual educational event that brings together all the regional sections of the world organization.

The session was attended by Vice-Mayor of Kazan Evgenia Lodvigova, Secretary General of the UCLG-MEWA Mehmet Duman, heads of international departments of the cities of Konya and Gaziantep, Programme Manager of UCLG Sarah Hoeflich, etc.

The meeting began with a discussion of the research methodology, where the participants exchanged views and expressed their ideas regarding the questionnaire. Tansylu Nurieva, Project Coordinator of UCLG-Eurasia, moderated the session and told the participants about the main stages of the preparation of the research materials.
