Нефтекамск пополнил ряды ОГМВ

The city of Neftekamsk has joined UCLG-Eurasia. The decision was made during the annual meeting of the regional section’s Council chaired by President of UCLG-Eurasia, Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin. The event took place on November 12, 2020, in the videoconference format. The participants included mayors and representatives of about 30 member cities of the Eurasian section.

Mayor of Neftekamsk Ratmir Mavliev made a presentation on the city’s social and economic potential and personally thanked the participants for the opportunity to join the international organization.

“We are actively working on improving lives of our citizens, making city a comfortable place, establishing harmonious relations with the private sector. Today, we are opening a new page in the development of our city, we wish to become part of the international community, gain invaluable experience of our partners and share our practices. I am convinced that Neftekamsk will become a powerful platform for the development of cultural values, business and human capital of the Eurasian cluster of the United Cities and Local Governments World Organization,” Ratmir Mavliev highlighted in his speech.
