MAYOR OF BISHKEK MET WITH AMBASSADOR OF THE STATE OF QATAR TO THE KYRGYZ REPUBLIC

Mayor of the capital Emilbek Abdykadyrov met with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the State of Qatar to the Kyrgyz Republic H.E. Abdullah Ahmed Al Sulaiti.

During the meeting, Mayor noted that developing and strengthening friendly relations with the State of Qatar is important for the Municipality of Bishkek, at the inter-city level in particular.

Further, the participants of the meeting discussed the construction of additional building of Bishkek Scientific and Research Center of Traumatology and Orthopedics in the city of Bishkek. Mayor informed the Ambassador that the Directorate of the Capital Construction of the Municipality of Bishkek developed the project for 360 beds.

Note: In 2014, in the city of Doha, the agreement on the establishment of sister cities between Bishkek and Doha was signed.
