On December 8, 2020, the Municipality of Ulaanbaatar successfully held online the 4th Northeast Asian Mayor’s Forum under the theme ‘Strengthening Regional Cooperation and Tackling Common Challenges through Exchange of Cities’ Best Practices during Covid-19 Pandemic’.

This is an open space for UCLG members and partners to participate in discussions and offer their own online courses. The first one already available is based on the LLE #BeyondTheOutbreak series, on the importance of local public services during and beyond the pandemics, and contains self-paced contents, videos, and quizzes’, Rasikh Sagitov noted.
More than 80 representatives of the Northeast Asian cities took part in the Forum. Among them were representatives of Moscow, Novosibirsk, Vladivostok, Irkutsk, Chita, Ulan-Ude, Beijing, Tianjin, Changchun, Shenyang, Tokyo, Seoul, Incheon; as well as representatives of international organizations, including UCLG-Eurasia, Asian Development Fund, UN Asia-Pacific Region, WHO Regional Office for the Western Pacific, etc.
