Eurasia Regional Section of the World organization "United Cities and Local Governments"
"Institute of Urban Economics" fund is a non-governmental and non-profit organization founded in 1995 in Moscow. The Institute is an economic research centre. Its main task is the analysis of social and economic problems of municipal development, the development of practical suggestions and guidelines on reforming of regional and urban economics, support of specific projects.
The Eurasian Regional Section of UCLG together with the Institute of Urban Economics are working on a chapter about Eurasia for the Third World report on democratization and decentralization.
