Eurasia Regional Section of the World organization "United Cities and Local Governments"
Rasikh Sagitov, Secretary General of UCLG-Eurasia, paid a working visit to the Russian cities of Ulan-Ude and Chita.
The visit to Ulan-Ude was timed to coincide with the City Day, June 15. Rasikh Sagitov has a meeting with Igor Shutenkov, Mayor of the city. The main topic of the negotiations was the development of cooperation within the framework of the UCLG-Eurasia’s activities, as well as the definition of the main vectors of work.
On Monday, June 17, a meeting took place in Chita with Yevgeny Yarilov, Head of the city. Rasikh Sagitov presented Ye.Yarilov the detailed information on the UCLG-Eurasia’s activities. The parties also discussed the advantages of the Chita’s joining the association, the potential for interaction and further development of relations.
