Berezniki Libraries Received Grants for Environmental Projects

Employees of the centralized library system are ready to inform all Berezniki citizens about the garbage sorting. Within half a year, city libraries will hold master classes, contests, seminars, intellectual games and quests on ecological topics. Winners will have a trip to Perm to a garbage processing plant.

On the basis of ecological library No. 9, the “Shkola Ecolat” will be opened.

Three libraries in Berezniki and Usolye will install containers of different colors labeled with the type of waste: educational aids for separate waste collection.

The project will continue with the creation of a museum about the second life of garbage in Library No. 9.

The project “Garbage. Second Life” is one of the winners of the contest “Accelerator of Social Initiatives” of the Andrei Melnichenko Charitable Foundation.
