The First Inclusive Gym for Preschoolers in Izhevsk

Sports gymnastics in an inclusive format with preschoolers is no longer a new trend for Russian cities. Now, the best practices come to Izhevsk.

The project of the Udmurt division of the Russian Children Fund “Inclusive gymnastics hall “Gymnastics Territory” became the winner of the contest of the Presidential Grants Fund. This was reported by Dmitry Chistyakov, Mayor of Izhevsk, on his page in Vkontakte.

The Foundation will receive a grant of more than 2,2 million rubles to implement the project. All these funds will be used to purchase equipment. This includes soft modules, parallel bars, a trampoline, a Swedish wall, tourniquets, gymnastic benches and other sports equipment.

About 300 children of the preschool age, including 70 children with mental disabilities, will be able to do gymnastics in the new gym.
