The Makhachkala City Administration is actively developing cooperation with other regions of Russia. A delegation from the capital of Dagestan paid a visit to Perm. The group included representatives of the city administration’s leadership, including Khibi Aliyev, Chairman of the Makhachkala Assembly of Deputies, Gadzhimurad Murtuzaliev, First Deputy Head, and Nariman Batyrbiyev, First Deputy Head, and specialists from the departments.
Perm is one of the country’s leaders in the quality of public transportation, distinguished by its affordable prices, the high comfort of its modern buses and trams, and its well-developed digital infrastructure.
Gadzhimurad Murtuzaliev noted that the delegation includes key specialists involved in organizing similar work in Makhachkala. He emphasized that the purpose of the visit is to exchange experience in public transportation development and public amenities.
The delegation has already held several meetings with their Perm colleagues, discussing specific steps to implement effective solutions in various areas.
In his speech, Gadzhimurad Murtuzaliev expressed gratitude for the warm welcome and the opportunity to work on this platform. He noted that the visit is particularly significant, as Eduard Sosnin, Mayor of Perm, had previously visited Makhachkala, a meeting that had fostered a high level of trust and mutual understanding. He added that the visit is seen as the beginning of systemic interaction and fruitful work between the cities.
