A delegation from the city of Osh participated in the International Sister Cities Forum, held in Samarkand, Uzbekistan. Representatives of municipalities, international organizations, and the business community from Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Türkiye, Japan, the United States, France, and Russia attended the event.
Myktybek Osmonaliev, Chief of Staff of the Osh Municipality, held several meetings with international partners to discuss attracting investment, developing the city’s tourism potential, and implementing joint projects in the digitalization of municipal governance.
Following the forum, a memorandum of cooperation was signed between the cities of Osh and Namangan. The document provides for the development of partnerships in trade, economics, science, technology, education, culture, and sports.
