A Nizhnekamsk delegation arrived in Omsk to participate in preparations for the main Tatar holiday, the Federal Sabantuy. The visit began with an official meeting between Radmir Belyaev, Mayor of Nizhnekamsk, and Sergey Shelest, Mayor of Omsk.
The city leaders discussed development prospects for their territories and signed a cooperation agreement. The document solidifies their intention to develop partnerships in several key areas: economics, urban management, education, culture, sports, and youth policy.
Radmir Belyaev noted: “Omsk is a city with a rich history and great development prospects. We are interested in our colleagues' experience in implementing large-scale projects, developing public spaces, supporting entrepreneurship, and creating a comfortable urban environment. In turn, we are ready to share our achievements in urban development and youth outreach.”
